Sakura aupair Japan is a specialised agency connecting Japanese au pairs with host families in the Netherlands. Founded by Risa Tanikawa, an experienced former au pair with 3 families, our mission is to create enriching cultural exchanges through carefully matched placements. We are dedicated to providing personalised support throughout the entire au pair experience, ensuring that both au pairs and host families benefit from this unique opportunity.

Our Story
The idea for Sakura aupair Japan was born from Risa’s personal experience as an au pair in the UK. After successfully helping a UK family find another Japanese au pair, Risa realised the potential for connecting au pairs from Japan with families abroad. The positive impact on both the au pair and the host family inspired her to create an agency that offers the same experience to others.
Our Vision
Our vision is to expand beyond the Netherlands, eventually connecting Japanese au pairs with host families across Europe. We aim to become a trusted and valued partner for both au pairs and families, creating unforgettable experiences and long-lasting connections through cultural exchange.
